Therapy
Graeme Walker's fantastic new installation/performance Therapy currently resides within the Waygood Studios in Byker. The private view featured improvised music from myself, Graeme and Daniel Green. Photographs from the performance to appear soon. I also wrote the exhibition guide, to the dismay of art critics everywhere.

Nachmi
July 2nd, The Cumberland Arms
Nachmi, Newcastle's finest purveyors of folk-blasted alt.pop and other genres play a farewell gig at their spiritual home. I'll be there with my tapes, still desperately trying to get in the band.

Design of the times
Sunmast Pamphlets has published a tiny wee mini poetry anthology about as big as your thumb called Design Of The Times. It has various metered ruminations by yours truly about design and architecture, including a fine piece about furniture and was created using a revolutionary new paper-folding technique as pioneered by the likes of Bookville and friends. I'll gladly send a copy to anyone wants one.

As We Enter
A small-but-perfectly-formed poetic inclusion of mine was to be found in Elimae last month. If you missed it, please find it here.

dott07
I have a new job. I'd just like to take this opportunity to mention that nothing I've ever said or done reflects reflects the views of my new employer. Ahem.
Dott07 is a year-long project attempting to explore new ways in which design can help to make everyday life better. It takes the form of long term community projects, design showcases and a two-week long festival in October.
From what I've been able to gather in my first week here it's going to be a very busy few months for me and the design community in the north east.

When No Means Yes
The wonderful sounds of Graeme Walker and his percussive, melodic cranium will soon be available on Glosses Fur Die Masses (home of Preslav Literary School, OCDC, Over Kodiak and more!). It's his third album recorded under the When No Means Yes nom-de-plume and we're very excited. As a result we've invited Graeme to join Over Kodiak for our special Ouseburn Festival gig on 21st July.
